Pelly’s Mini Golf in San Diego (review) 4K/UHD

Just north of San Diego is a golf center. That should come as no surprise since such places are just about everywhere. What’s more surprising is that they have a mini golf course, and that’s it’s just plain awesome.

The name “Pelly” is a reference to the local pelicans, and they’ve got a ton of tributes to them all around the course (as you’ll see in the video.) All that’s well and good, but if the course doesn’t play, no amount of decorations are going to save it… but it plays SO well.

I can’t imagine what they invested to get a pair of 18-hole courses that play so well, but it must have been a fortune.

The holes are each interesting, challenging without being impossible, and a whole lot of fun.

We went near high noon, when the temperatures were highest and the place nearly empty. The adjacent driving range was still bustling though, and there were plenty of people in the pro-shop.

All I can say is that we had a really great time, and whether you play one course or both, you’re going to have a great time here. Top notch all around.
