One of the biggest, best, and most fascinating places we visited was the California Science Center. It’s not merely amazing, though it is, it’s also free.
Sure, you can pay extra to see an actual space shuttle, or an IMAX film, or sometimes a visiting exhibit, but the place is 95% free and worth every penny and so many more.
We’ve seen literally dozens of science centers, but no matter the price, this one is still easily in our top two or three.
Kind of everything you could hope to imagine in terms of science is here… well, science is a pretty big field, generally, so let’s just agree it’s more than you could ever hope to absorb in a day.
