This was a tough one. We heard about it from a friend, then looked it up online, then checked out library books to figure it all out.
Turns out there was a “lost widow” whose husband was presumed lost at sea. When he was finally declared, she took herself into the hereafter, which is tragic, because she could have had any number of lives after that.
Or if she just waited, her husband would have come back to her. We went out of our way to pay respects to her and the loves and life lost.
