Sure, you can get your pumpkins from the supermarket like a common mongrel, or you can civilize it up a tad and go out and pick your own.
We got ours from Remlinger Farms, and not because we hate supermarkets, but because we love supporting local farmers, and we also enjoy the hunt.
Imagine stalking your prey like that. Wandering through the fields, seeking your ideal prey. It’s kind of like that, but instead of murdering them, you just take them home… and then you gut them and turn their rotting husks into decorations.
I imagine it’s similar to the joy the Tooth Fairy must feel, but this is far cheaper, at least on a per-pound basis.
