It’s a decent place, don’t get me wrong, but they have a business model, and it isn’t based on getting you to hang out and drink.
No, this place lives and dies on high turnover. Your 18-25 Euro admission may include 3 drinks, but half the guests can’t stand the cold long enough to get them, and those of us who do are disappointed.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s a very fun atmosphere, but it’s basically pounding drinks as quickly as you can in a meat locker, and as quickly as you met that nice couple from Australia, they’re already gone, because it’s just too cold to hang out long enough to exchange much more than pleasantries, let alone last names.
We had a great time and felt the value was appropriate, if not for the drinks, then definitely for the experience. Good fun all around, great fellow travelers, an A+ place to visit.
Went to one in Dubai a few years back… no alcohol though. Maybe I was there on the wrong night.
