Wild Waves is back at it again. Like every year, when the fall comes, the waterpark closes down and the decorations for Fright Fest go up. It’s so much fun we never miss it.
There are three different haunted houses in the park, and while you could spend your whole night riding rides (the lines are ridiculously short, especially by California standards,) you simply have to check out one, two, or all three of the haunted houses.
The Chamber of Souls is an easy favorite. They really find the right balance between scary and not-too-scary. It’s not one of those places you feel like they go overboard, but it’s really wonderful.
No pictures can capture the cackles and shrieks you hear in the houses haunted, so I hope you’ll watch the video for that much at least.
Whether it’s this year or next (or the one after that!) you just gotta check it out. Discount tickets are almost always available on their site at www.wildwaves.com, but go early, stay late, and have as much fun as you can stomach!
