‘Tis the time of year again, when children squeal with delight, parents take them to the emergency room, and medics of every stripe earn overtime pay.
But you know who really loves the fourth of July? If you said used car salesman and blowout mattress dealers, you’d be right, but only half right, because the real winner on Independence Day (not Will Smith, though I guess him too,) is cats.
If there’s one thing they love more than being cats, and there simply isn’t, it would have to be seeing dogs tormented. After all they fight like cats and… something, I forget how it goes.
Happy fourth of July. Be safe out there, and watch out for drunks on the road.
