We went to the Tukwila location, just south of Seattle, but we’ve been to many from Vancouver, BC to San Francisco to… I don’t recall, but we’ve easily been to over a dozen locations in the last 30-years. That’s the parent’s 30-years, not ours. We don’t have that much time between us.
Us kids wanted to go to Red Robin, but dad said he had to work, so we reached a compromise. Let’s write a review of Red Robin, but not just based on this one trip, but all the many trips we’ve taken over the years.
Here some pro-tips for dining at Red Robin.
1 – Kids meals only average about $5, so if you have two kids, it’s still cheaper to get them kids meals than to get an entree and have them split it. Also, the kids meals come with drinks, so it leads to more happiness.
2 – Ask your server to bring out a basket of fries right away as an appetizer. The fries are unlimited, so it’s a free appetizer, and if the kitchen is backed up (pretty rare) you won’t starve while you’re waiting.
3 – Ask for balloons before you leave. Most locations have free balloons for youngsters, and sometimes you can even choose your own color.
4 – It costs less than a dollar extra, so kick your fries up a notch. Sometimes we get garlic fries, which are awesome, and we always get chipotle mayo as a dipping sauce. Just a hint of a kick, but oh so delicious.
5 – If you like the taste of the fries, but a can of the seasoning to take home. It’s only about $3 and it will last you for years. We add it to hashbrowns, frozen french fries and even burgers sometimes.
You can find any number from their hundreds of locations by visiting www.RedRobin.com, and be sure to tell them the internet sent you. If you do, they’ll give you free refills on your drinks… also, they’ll do it if you don’t. They’re just that awesome.

I love Red Robin. Haven’t been in maybe a year. Good review, awesome pictures. I’m at work so I didn’t click the video, but you definitely have my hunger bones poking me in the ribs… that’s a thing, right?
