Red Robin in Boise, Idaho just, Well, Familiar

We try to emphasize the little guys whenever we can, but Red Robin is just such a favorite of ours, it deserves a shout-out even when we’re on the road.

There is no shortage on Robin’s Red in the greater Boise area, but we went to the first location. The Park Center location.

They have a massive patio looking out over the lake, and of the four valley locations, it’s the only one that isn’t nestled within another location, like a mall or what not. This place survives because it’s awesome.

ID-red-robin-bleu-ribbon-tastyRumor has it, on rare occasion, you can even see wild deer from the windows or patio. That’s pretty awesome.

But if you’re looking for good family value, consider the fact that on Tuesday’s from 4:00pm to close, all kid’s meals are just 99-cents with an adult entree purchase.

The prices are already very good, but tack on a discount like that (likely available in all locations, but call before heading in to be sure,) and it’s a perfectly affordable meal of all one can eat… since the fries are unlimited.

The monkeys managed to finally settle down in the table, but only when the fries came out ahead of the order. These guys really know how to handle kids, and I don't say that just because they slapped down a pile of napkins on the table before we even asked.
