Wii Review of Toy Story 3

We recently got our hands on a fun, new game. Toy Story 3 for the Wii is a really fun title. It’s bug-free, well animated, and good for quite a lot of repeat playability… but one thing it sure as heck isn’t, is worth $49.99… not by a mile.

The game is great for younger kids due to the fact that, when you fail levels, it restarts you with easier and easier targets, plus hints and on-screen walk-throughs.

And while it’s’ fun, and the graphics look pretty great, one thing it most surely isn’t, is $50 good.

If you can find this game for $30, I’d say you should buy it. If you can’t, I’d say you should resort to renting it.

Even though there are a ton of mini-games within the game, some are too difficult for younger kids to play, and the flow through the game is by no means logical. We got hung-up early on, and that’s with adults helping out. We had to resort to online cheat sites to figure out how to move past the early stages.

Once we did so, we were back to non-stop fun.

There is a lot more creativity written into the game, even when compared with the movie, and the movie franchise has been uncommonly wonderful for us consumers.

On our buy-it; rent-it; steal-it chart, this gets a buy it rating (if you can get it for under $30), or a rent-it if you can’t.
